Inside the caves at Pommery Champagne House. It was a refreshing break from the heat at 40-50 degrees. With a cave 100 feet below the surface. If you have issues with mold or stairs – I would not recommend this, but a fascinating tour including the making and bottling process.
It was all fun and games until the thunder, lightening, wind, and driving rain came!
We ate in a restaurant in a cave. No menu in English and no one who worked there spoke English. Made for some interesting eating!
